Mitch Levitt, DDS

Dr. Levitt attended college at McGill University and received his dental degree from the University of Montreal, School of Dental Medicine. He was awarded the Whitehall-Robins award for student involvement and the Sherman Prize for academic excellence and leadership. He completed a one-year post-graduate residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Southern California. Following his advanced training in the Los Angeles community, Dr. Levitt moved to Upstate New York to provide dentistry to an underserved community. He has been practicing dentistry for over ten years in the Los Angeles area; from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills to now owning his practice in the Miracle Mile. Over these years, Dr. Levitt has had the opportunity to train with some of the world’s authoritative leaders in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry.

Dr. Levitt is skilled in all fields of dentistry, including cosmetic, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics and pediatrics. Dr. Levitt is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He has held licences in Canada, New York and California.

Dr. Levitt enjoys playing tennis and beach volleyball. He is a fan of professional hockey and football. He is a sports memorabilia collector and is an avid admirer of modern architecture and design.

Garrett Worsey, DDS

Dr. Garrett Worsey is a California native and completed his doctorate degree with honors at the UCLA School of Dentistry. While at UCLA and over the course of his career, Dr. Worsey has sought out additional training and education in cosmetic dentistry to become an expert in creating beautiful, healthy smiles. As a General & Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Worsey focuses his practice on helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and their most ideal smile. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Worsey enjoys fitness, traveling the world, and spending time with family and loved ones.

Talia Shainhouse, DDS

Periodontist

Dr. Talia Shainhouse is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is highly trained in the fields of implant dentistry, cosmetic periodontal treatment and periodontal disease and its treatment.

Dr. Shainhouse completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in Toronto, Canada. She then received her DDS from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Following her graduation, Dr. Shainhouse moved to New York City where she received her post-graduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry. She completed her specialty training at the Ashman Department of Periodontology & Implant Dentistry, where she was mentored by world-renowned experts in the field of oral and periodontal medicine.

Dr. Shainhouse is a clinical instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the North Eastern Society of Periodontists, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Shainhouse has lectured at various continuing education courses including; the Tri-School Periodontics Symposium, The Greater New York Dental Meeting and the Southern California Orofacial Academy annual meeting in Spring 2012.

Nasi Barcohana, DDS

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Nasi Barcohana graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry in 1998. She subsequently continued her training at UCLA, completing a 2-year specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry at the UCLA Children’s Dental Center. During her residency, Dr. Barcohana spent time on the Craniofacial Team, treating children with congenital deformities of the skull and facial bones. She has been trained in a variety of behavior management techniques and is certified to treat patients under sedation when required. Findings from clinical research conducted by Dr. Barcohana at UCLA have been published in major Pediatric Dentistry journals and presented at local and national meetings.

After her training, Dr. Barcohana entered a private practice in the Los Angeles area. She practices with the belief that the focus of Pediatric Dentistry should be on preventive care and patient education. She places great importance on the creation of an environment where children are both accepting of and comfortable with their dental care. Dr. Barcohana is a faculty member at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Her husband is a physician practicing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Together they have three children.
